Introduction.

​​​​​Teaching objectives

The goal of general education in TUTech. is to train students to have the basic qualities that citizens should have.

Including communication, problem solving, dedication, humanistic literacy, teamwork, innovation and creativity, planning integration, information technology.

The contents of the eight qualities are explained below:

1. Communication

To train students to have the language ability to listen, speak, read and write, to understand the expression of others, and effective use of language to establish good interpersonal relationships.

2. Problem Solving

Cultivate students' ability to develop independent critical thinking, to analyze objectively in the face of problems, and to make correct judgments to solve problems effectively.

3. Dedication

Cultivate students' ability to explore self-active learning, construct moral and ethical values, plan career development, master social pulse, and practice the ideal of lifelong learning.

4. Humanistic Literacy

To cultivate students' concern and respect for life, ethnic group, society, environment and nature, to appreciate and understand the importance of interdependence, and to develop aesthetic and innovative abilities by understanding different cultures.

5. Teamwork

Cultivate students' concept of social service and team division of labor, and learn to use organizational and coordination skills to develop the ability of leadership.

6. Innovation and creativity

Cultivate students' ability of creative thinking and multi-aesthetic, dare to change and innovate, stimulate enthusiasm for life, and improve the competitiveness of the workplace.

7. Planning Integration

Cultivate students' cross-cutting thinking and practice, and enhance their leadership and management skills through training in setting goals, twisting strategies, planning and executing, and evaluating effectiveness.
